The design
The design is clean and sophisticated, but when you sit down with the Asus ROG GL, you know you have a true gaming laptop in front of you. The keyboard is well laid out and has a red backlight. It is ideal for gaming, but it has one big weakness. Fingerprints. The glossy design makes fingerprints show up and even if you easily can use the cloth to remove them it is a small annoyance.
Screen and battery
The screen is a 1080HD display with accurate color and clear image quality. The battery is the laptops biggest flaw. With less than 3 hours of game time unplugged it is on the weaker side of the price range. If you can handle playing mostly plugged in and have a budget of around 1000 dollars. then this is one of the to-go laptops of the price range. Why? The powerful hardware.
